The HBCU Professional Development Program (PDP) is designed to empower all students and emerging professionals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as they navigate their path toward graduation and entrance into the architectural profession.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be affiliated with one of the seven HBCUs offering architecture programs and fall into one of the following categories:

 

• Currently enrolled in a 4- or 5-year undergraduate architecture program

• Currently enrolled in a graduate M.Arch program

• An Emerging Professional within two years post-graduation

 

Inclusive of All Program Types:

Students from both NAAB-accredited and non-accredited architecture programs are welcome to register. NOMA welcomes a diversity of academic experiences and is committed to ensuring all participants have access to career-building opportunities.

 

NOMA Membership is Encouraged: To deepen engagement with the NOMA community, student participants are encouraged to be current, paid members of NOMA by October 1 of each program year.
